The Company  

Toppino Snc. was founded in Alba in 1930 under the guidance of Andrea Toppino, an inspired craftsman-designer who excelled in creating chimney pieces and fireplaces characterized by their architectural effects drawing upon traditional Italian "graniglia" techniques using marble, stone, and granite.

- In the 70's, the second generation, headed by Dario Toppino, building upon Andrea's successful foundations of technical expertise and craftsmans-like values, took the business in a more creative direction while continuing with the design of his products according to the customers' specification.

- In 1992, a showroom space was created in an historic street in the centre of Turin where a rich collection of antique chimney pieces can be admired in their appropriate surroundings.

- In 1999, the new headquarters in Alba were inaugurated where the design process department is located along with the exhibition of ideas for interiors, and a display of fine antique chimney pieces and accessories.

- In 2009, new transformations and improvements following the natural Company's growing process and forerunner of new, innovative and exciting projects. The tendency is more and more addressed to the quality and uniqueness of a bespoke product.
